Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
I think i have to answers this one to because i have seen almost every movie that is nominated for the oscars.
Rayn Gosling really showed his acting talent in Half Nelson. I didn't liked the movie that much but i liked his preformance.

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
Yeah, the movie was just ok for me, but Ryan's performance was outstanding. Glad he won the Spirit award for it.

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
Yeah, "Lucky You" is definitely on the top of my list too, browneyes. Whenever, it's released.
Were you able to see Zodiac? I wanted to see it also, but wasn't able to.
Another I am looking forward to is "Rescue Dawn" a Christian Bale movie. Not sure if it played in theatres yet, if not I'll rent the dvd when it is released.

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
Mari - My sister-in-law is taking me to see Zodiac for my birthday next week. Dinner and a show is what that's going to be. Rescue Dawn hasn't come out yet, but it also on my list, because I am not checking out that Christian Bale. There was a good article about CB in GQ magazine this month. He was on the cover. He doesn't like any BS in his life - just like EB - and I like that. Went to see "300" this past weekend.

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
Well, I hope you have fun on your birthday. Happy B-Day!
Yeah, I know about the GQ article on Christian. I posted his cover photo on his thread in Off Topics. You should check it out. I haven't read the article yet, but I will when I purchase the magazine.
You went to see 300? I'm going to this weekend. We love Gerard Butler here! (King Leonidas) He has a thread too, here. Tell us what you thought about it.
I'll checkin after I watch it, in case of spoilers.

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
I saw the trailer of "Lucky You" when I went to see Music&Lyrics last week.
Looking forward to it.
One which should be a funny movie, too, is "Born to be wild" with J.Travolta and Martin Lawrence

Re: Your Favorite Upcoming Movies
"300" I didn't know of the real battle in history and I understand there was a comic book out there - which I never read. As for the movie - these were my thoughts - I THOUGHT THE FIGHT SCENES - and they are numerous -WERE GREAT - ALL DONE IN SLOW MOTION! And I wanted to know the history of this battle - but one has to wonder how much exaggeration there was. It was obvious - in a good way all ditigal work - but it gave me the overall feeling of a high quality comic book coming alive. And if you are a Gerard Butler fan - by all means go see it. The love scenes with his queen are
