Romulus, My Father (the book) *Spoiler*

I was wondering if anyone had read this book - the book that prompted EB to make the movie.

I read the book over a year ago it was very touching. Another member here has read it too.

I think it's great you did a review, BUT, I was very disappointed you gave away some of the story. I don't think you should have told what happened to his wife and Mitru, and the ending. ( I was shocked you did that )
Thats for people to discover for themselves.

You read the book without knowing what happened, I think you should have given everyone else the same oppertunity.

Several members here have read The other Boleyn girl too ( including myself ), and the last thing they would do is ruin it for anyone else.

Oh, Stardust; I am sorry. Since it seemed no one else read the book, and since so much has been said about suicide and betrayal already in the media, I didn't think mentioning names made a difference. emoticon Even if you hear a lot about a book/movie - when you are reading or seeing it for yourself, you can get caught up in the events. If you want, I can just edit it out. And I did.

Don't worry, it's ok,
you are welcome to do reviews and talk about the book. As long as there is a spoiler note on the top of the page you go into as much detail as you like. emoticon

Kinda like The other Boyeln Girl, everyone is busting to know which one gets Henry. I know the answer, but as much as I'd love to talk about it, I can't, 'cause it'll take away some of the suspence for you.

I'm sorry you felt you had to delete your post, your comments really were well written, I hope you do another one. I can definately relate to what you said.

Stardust: I'll be honest here, after I read your comments about my review, I broke down in tears. I was in a daze for the rest of the day and night. Maybe I just don't belong here.

On a lighter note, when it comes to the OBG, I also know the story! But don't worry, I won't say anything!
